2018, youre just too good to us.

Pop fans were given a huge gift yesterday when it was announced that ABBA – yes, actual ABBA – are releasing new music for the first time in 35 years.

And now, another pop tour de force could be putting aside their differences and getting back together.

It has been reported that Girls Aloud are working towards a 20th anniversary reunion tour, despite the constant warring between the singers.

The band split in 2013, with Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding feeling increasingly distant from besties Cheryl, Kimberly Walsh and Nicola Roberts.

But according to The Sun, Cheryl has suggested they embark on a massive tour before their 20th anniversary in 2022 – and all five ladies are on board.

The paper claims that the 34-year-old first pitched the idea to Kimberly, 36, and Nicola, 32, before reaching out to Nadine, 32, and Sarah, 36.

This comes after Nadine cancelled her solo tour, on which she planned to perform Girls Aloud classics.

Nadine has been spilling the tea on the strained relationships within Girls Aloud over the past year, admitting that her starring role in the band led to bitterness amongst the girls.

She previously told Dan Woottons podcast: I always got more vocals than everybody else, so in terms of people wanting their voice heard, that wasnt happening.

And it made people very bitter. They didnt like that.

However, if the rumours are true, it looks like we could see all five ladies back on stage performing hits like The Promise, Love Machine and Biology.

More: Cheryl

Were camping out for front row seats as we type.

While Nadine and Sarah havent been as chummy with the girls since their split, Cheryl, Kimberly and Nicola have remained close friends, with Nicola recently sharing a picture of the trio out for dinner in Knightsbridge for former Girls Aloud choreographer Beth Honans birthday.

Perhaps picking up some new routines?
