Ozzy Osbourne has expressed his anger after being forced to reschedule his tour until 2020 to focus on his health.

The Black Sabbath frontman suffered a fall at his Los Angeles home recently while recovering from pneumonia, which had already pushed him to postpone shows in 2018.

Now in a new statement, Ozzy explains that he will take some time out to recover, resuming the world tour next year.

Ozzy, 70, told fans: I cant believe I have to reschedule more tour dates.

Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now.

Im grateful for the love and support Im getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, its really whats keeping me going.

He added: Just know that I am getting better every day… I will fully recover… I will finish my tour… I will be back!

Ozzy postponed dates on his solo No More Tours 2 jaunt last year after being taken to hospital for an infection in his hand.

Although he recovered and returned to the stage, he was then struck down by a severe upper-respiratory infection which meant he had to postpone the UK and European leg of the tour.

Shortly after, the British musician spent time in the Intensive Care Unit after suffering complications from the flu, but he was released in mid-February.

Addressing Ozzys health at the time, his wife Sharon Osbourne said on The Talk: Hes doing great. Hes out of ICU and hes doing great.

Hes breathing on his own. I just want to say a huge thank you to everybody that has reached out with good wishes.

He is overcome by the response that hes had, and its kind of bittersweet because hes overwhelmed with it, but hes sad too.
