Michael Jacksons captivating never before seen self-portraits set to be auctioned

Michael Jacksons collection of drawings, including a never before seen self-portrait are set to be auctioned off on November 9 by Juliens Auctions.
Despite nine years having passed since his death, it seems that the King of Pop just keeps on giving.
The gorgeous artwork, penned by Michael himself, includes a self portrait, captioned moi in his handwriting.
The collection also features a picture of him with his sisters, Janet, Rebbie and Latoya, captioned growing up with sisters, an outline of his hand, and a pair of his signed shoes.

Other pictures penned by the star include the captions little daydreamer and so modest, so appealing.
Owned by Dr. Steven M. Hoefflin, a close friend of Michael, each picture is set to sell for $8000 (£6150), the shoes for $6000 (£4600), and a hand-written poem, also for $6000 (£4600).

Michael was recently named as the highest-earning dead celebrity of 2018, flying ahead of Elvis Presley and Arnold Palmer at $400 million (£307 million).
The figure is partly as a result of the sale of EMI Music Publishing to Sony.
Rapper XXXTentacion, author Dr Suess, and boxer Muhammed Ali also feature on the list.

The news come just a day after Janet Jackson, who is featured in one of the images, treated fans to an incredible performance at the MTV EMAs, as well as winning the Global Icon award.
If theres one word for Janet, its definitely iconic.
As if to prove it, after she was presented with the award she launched straight into a message about equality for women.
I feel moved to speak for womens voices who have been stifled, she said.

She continued: I am one of those women, women who have been gagged, both literally and emotionally, women who have been abused, women who have been intimidated, women who have lived in fear.
