Ahead of his Glastonbury performance this weekend, Stormzy has dropped his brand new song Crown.
The track was co-written by Stormzy himself and produced by MJ Cole and Jimmy Napes.
The song is a raw and honest approach, with the rapper even mentioning the backlash against his scholarship for black students at Cambridge University: I done a scholarship for the kids, they said its racist. Thats not anti-white, its pro-black.
To accompany the track, the Big For Your Boots hitmaker released a live visual filmed at the Church Studio in London, which sees him perform with gospel singers.
Speaking of the song, Stormzy said: Ive been struggling to find words to describe how much this song means to me… struggling to explain exactly why I felt the needed to say what Ive said on the record… and cant quite summarise the journey of emotions the song takes me on when I listen back to it.

Crown is the follow up to the rappers hit Vossi Bop, which became his first number one single on the UK Singles Chart.

Stormzy will perform Crown on The Graham Norton Show, which will be broadcast tonight on BBC One.
The Brit will be closing the pyramid stage at the iconic Glastonbury Festival, with highlights to be shown on BBC Two tomorrow.
