Asap Rocky has finally released his long-awaited third Album Testing, and its a powerhouse.

The 15-track album features a number of high profile musicians including appearances from Playboi Carti, French Montana, Dev Hynes, Kid Kudi and FKA twigs.

British grime artist Skepta also features on the album, and music legends Frank Ocean and Lauryn Hill appeared on a couple of his tracks – Brother Man and Purity, the latter of which samples Hills I Gotta Find Peace of Mind.

The rapper posted 525 on his Instagram earlier this month, teasing fans with the album release date.

Rocky spent time recording his album in London and Berlin, where he got to spend time with MGMT, Mos Def and Kanye West. He told Complex:

[West] was designing sneakers in one suite, making music in one suite, and I was making music in my suite. It was crazy. We shut down the whole hotel.

He described his album as akin to taking drugs.

Not every collaboration made it onto the final album. Speaking to Zane Lowe on Beat 1, he said: I was working a lot with Lana Del Rey for the past two years. I worked a lot with Tame Impala and MGMT, so it was just like, the people I finally wanted to work with…These are the people I grew up with, these are the people I admire.

Asap Rocky revealed the album artwork earlier in the week via a bizarre 90 – minute performance art piece in New York City.

Hes had a strange couple of weeks. The rapper recently confessed that he was a massive fan of The Smiths and wouldnt mind hooking up with Morrissey in the studio.

I might have to fuck with Morrissey on some Smiths shit, he told Peter Rosenberg for his new YouTube show Open Late. Make some emo, real, retro-infusion, motherfuckin 2018 shit, man.
