Kanye West explains Donald Trump support in new song Ye vs. The People as he confirms presidency bid
Kanye West has finally explained his support for Donald Trump in new song, Ye vs. The People, but were still not totally convinced.
The rapper teamed up with pal T.I. to reveal the truth behind his love-in with the TV star turned President – which has spurred on his own attempts to get into the White House.
Yes, seriously.
In the track he rapped: I know Obama was heaven-sent, but ever since Trump won, it proved that I could be President.
To which T.I. – who has become the voice of reason we never knew we needed – replied: Yeah you can, at what cost though?
Kim Kardashians husband also attempted to explain why he wore the infamous Make America Great Again hat, to show everyone were all equal.

Were not too sure thats the message everyone else got from it, hun.
Bruh, I never ever stopped fightin for the people, he continued. Actually wearing the hat is to show people that were equal.
His pal urged him to see the finer point, telling him: What makes you feel equal makes them feel evil.
But the 40-year-old was having none of it, rapping: See thats the problem with this damn nation. All blacks gotta be Democrats. Man, we aint made it off the plantation.

I feel an obligation to show people new ideas and if you want to hear em, here go two right here. Make America Great Again had a negative perception. I took it, wore it, rocked it.
Gave it a new direction. Added empathy, care, and love and affection—and yall sympathy questioning my methods?
One day I was like fuck it Im going to do me. I was in the sunken place and then I found a new me.
While that is quite a lot to digest, can we all just recognise the reference to Get Out and those memes?!
Kanye made headlines after returning to Twitter earlier this week, sharing his support for Trump with a signed MAGA cap of all things.
A string of famous faces, including Snoop Dogg and Janelle Monae, questioned just what the dad-of-three was thinking with his messages.
And John Legend even appeared to text the Famous rapper, begging him to reconsider his new pal – with Yeezy sharing screenshots of their conversation for his 27.9million followers while refusing to back down.

But it seems as though the pair arent letting politics get in the way of their friendship, as Kanye and Kim joined John and Chrissy Teigen at their home, for the pregnant models baby shower.
Sharing a selfie of the pair on Twitter, Ye explained they had decided to agree to disagree.
Phew.
