Theres nothing quite like a convincing prank – especially when its pulled off live on the radio.
Little Mixs Jesy Nelson somehow managed to briefly fool Kiss FMs morning DJs – and a fair few listeners – this morning (4 January) when she appeared to drop an almighty bombshell about her secret pregnancy during the groups guest appearance on the stations breakfast show.
Kiss FM host Tom Green had just congratulated the four-piece on the recent release of their album LM5, to which Jesy replied: Thank you – I thought you were gonna say [congratulations] on the baby then…
Green thought that that notion was pretty funny until Jesy, completely straight-faced, replied: No, seriously – Im pregnant.
Perrie Edwards even got in on the fun, managing to contort Greens surprised facial features even further by adding: Do you not know that?

Clearly convinced yet increasingly shocked by the revelation, Green eventually managed to congratulate Jesy on her big news – before then realising that hed been duped by pop stars on live radio.
Are you joking? he asked, flabbergasted. Oh my God, I 100% bought that.
To be fair to him, even Little Mixs team who accompanied the group to the studio were apparently taken aback by Jesys surprise announcement.
Still, Green took it in good humour as he tweeted his approval of Jesys prank this afternoon.
Its happened to all of us, Tom – just maybe not live on the radio…
