Augusta’s Bendigo Bank appoints branch manager
A new branch manager has been appointed at the Bendigo Bank Augusta & Districts Community Branch. Amy Beaton, currently residing in Cowaramup with her partner and with 8 years experience in retail banking, said she was excited to be leading the community branch in a number of ways. "The Augusta & Districts Community Bank has done so much for our community already and I endeavour to increase our community involvement and impact in the future through volunteering, sponsorship and support," Ms Beaton said. "I look forward to being involved in the community on a deeper level to ensure our community grows in the right direction. I am excited to be a part of a banking initiative that directly benefits our community." Ms Beaton said the bank had supported a range of local efforts this year. "Highlights include our major sponsorship of 2 Oceans FM, as well as helping the Margaret River Hockey Club with their goal to build their own training ground closer to home. Rapids Landing Primary School, the Scott River Ball, Augusta Golf Club and the Augusta River Festival all received assistance, while the bank became naming sponsors of the Margaret River Region Open Studios event and the upcoming 2019 MRCCI Business Awards.
