It turns out Offset, 26, cut his teeth in music with some of R&Bs all-time legends before he was even a teenager.
None other than Offsets mama shared a massive insight into the rappers childhood on Thursday by revealing what she did to keep him out of trouble.
In a profile by The New York Times this week, Offsets mum Latabia recalls enrolling a young Kiari as a back-up dancer to keep him off the streets.
The quote reads: In Offsets absence, his mother reminisced about keeping him out of trouble with team sports and let it slip that, as a child, he danced professionally in videos for Whitney Houston and TLC.

She stopped herself from saying more, noting that he had an image to protect.
But clearly Offset wasnt as ashamed of the claim to fame as Latabia might have thought, because he later posted a photo from the 2002 set of Whitneys Whatchulookinat video on Instagram.
Adorably suited alongside five other young boys, Offset would have been just 10 years old.

Offset rode shotgun while his hip hop trio Migos sang along to Whitney Houston in their recent Carpool Karaoke with James Cordon.
