Even The Black Eyed Peas are obsessed with BTS and K-pop: We love the climate of that sound
Everyone is obsessed with K-pop at the moment and it seems as if the hype has not passed hip-hop veterans Black Eyed Peas.
The trio recently revealed that they are working with singer CL, member of Korean girl group 2NE1 – and they cant help but rave about world-wide phenomenon BTS as well.
Yes – thats right BTS Army, will.iam, apl.de.ap and Taboo love your favourites, too!
Speaking of the boy band and the growing popularity K-pop has had over the last few years, Taboo told Metro.co.uk that he is here for the craze.
The 43-year-old told us: We just love international music. We love the climate of that sound. Its that pulse that we just have to appreciate.
I am glad to see K-pop really pop off and its cool to see how its become an international craze. Its amazing how people may not be Korean [but] they still take part in the experience and it is kind of cool.
Speaking of CL – who he refers to as being a part of The Black Eyed Peas family – he revealed he actually got to meet 2NE1, who have been ranked by Billboard as one of the best K-pop girl groups of the past decade.

We love her as a family as a person and as an individual, the rapper said. We got to meet the rest of the girls but we really built a friendship with CL.
BEP members recently reunited for Master Of The Sun, their first album in eight years. And they will be doing so without Fergie, who released a solo album last year.
Not only have the trio enlisted CL to replace the female vocalist in tunes, but they have also brought on board Nicole Scherzinger, who they confirm has laid down some melodies for the new project after months and months of speculation that she was joining the group as a member.
When we ask, Taboo also only refers to Nicole as a family member and not an official part of the group.
New track Big Love has received a lot of praise because it has reminded fans of the groups 2003 hit Where Is The Love, thanks to its political message and poignant music video.
But thats not the only thing this hitmaker and member of the group has to celebrate after successfully beating testicular cancer following a shock diagnosis in 2014.
The artist, who said he was diagnosed after going to A&E for what he thought was the flu, is super excited to be back with the group after a string of solo songs, one being 2016 track The Fight – a song he described as being about survivorship.
Speaking of the future, Taboo said that fans should expect the energy that Black Eyed Peas have been bringing since 1995′ when they started the band.

Teasing the new album, he added: We have new material that we have been performing, expressing new experiences, and new songs and new facial expressions.
Its good to have something new in the market.
