Muse announce two UK stadium shows for next summer as fans are left wanting more

Muse will play just two UK shows in June on the Europe leg of their Simulation Theory tour, which has left some fans just a little bit peeved.

The rock band, consisting of frontman Matt Bellamy, drummer Dominic Howard, and bassist Chris Wolstenholme, is set to play the London Stadium on June 1, 2019 and Manchesters Etihad Stadium on June 8, 2019.

However, some fans have been left less than impressed with the bands lack of UK dates.

Another asked: 2 dates in the uk? is that all?!

Bristol-based fans were particularly disgruntled as the original tour poster appeared to include included the city, but it has since vanished in the boys latest announcement.

What happened to Bristol? one fan asked, summing up the mood of many responding to the band on Twitter.

However, all hope isnt lost for UK fans outside London and Manchester.

The band have assured everyone that more dates are yet to come, with Matt tweeting Stay tuned, LA will be a part of the US tour, also NY and Chicago.

He added: Mexico and South America dates will be in the autumn. Still working on venues etc.

We are hoping to do a tour of Japan in September! More dates to come, he affirmed.

We can hear Bristolians everywhere breathing a sigh of relief.

The Knights of Cydonia hitmakers are set to release their eighth studio album, Simulation Theory, on 9 November.

Dig Down was the first single from the album, released back in May 2017, with the second single, Thought Contagion, being released in February 2018.
