Say hello to summer in the dead centre of NSW, at the infamous Collerreina Prawn and Chicken night, back after a short hiatus.

The Collerrina Hall Committee have been hard at work reviving the tradition and organising the event to be held on October 27, which brings together the community and friends to enjoy plates of fresh prawns and home cooked chicken dishes.

The committee has said they are organising the event because its still a night so widely talked about.

Guests can expect a barrel of laughs with entertainment provided by stand-up comedian Marty Fields.

The committee are encouraging people to come along, catch up with friends and neighbours and forget about the drought for a night.

Tickets are $40 per person and drinks will be available at the bar.

Please RSVP to the event by October 17 by contacting Lesley on 0429028376 or Sarah on 0428330651.
