Joe Budden has just dished out the ultimate blow to Eminem.

The broadcaster and former rapper has said Eminem isnt worth him coming back out of retirement for a response to his diss.

Eminem took aim at Joe in the track Fall on Kamikaze, but the retired rapper has no desire to head back into the studio for just two bars.

Speaking to Hip-Hop-DX, he said: Yeah, no. I dont think it contradicts my retirement. I wouldnt do it. I wouldnt do it.

I wouldnt want to dust off the microphone and get in the studio strictly to respond to two bars. I think that would contradict my retirement and all the work that Ive done up to this point.

He took the hit from Eminem in the track Fall, where the 45-year-old raps: Somebody tell Budden before I snap, he better fasten it or have his body baggage zipped. The closest thing hes had to hits is smackin bitches.

The 38-year-old star announced his retirement as a solo artist in 2017, but still remained a member of Slaughterhouse – who are signed to Eminems Shady Records – until earlier this year when he confirmed he was taking a step back from his career as a rapper.

The Pump It Up hitmaker added: I dont feel like anybody really deserves that. When Joe Budden was relevant he just had that passion. Nobody said anything to Joe Budden.

So today, those same rules apply. When I am under attack now because we are not so irrelevant. I have to seek what the motives are to do that.

Im not just going to the studio to give somebody else the benefit of saying “Yeah, Joe responded”. Im retired, I mean it.

While Remy Ma and 50 Cent have both hit out at Budden for his lack of response to Eminems digs, the star insisted his focus is elsewhere at the moment.

He explained: And not for two bars is what Im saying. Im an MC at heart still. If somebody decides to, they really want to get out in the street, Ill meet them in the street.

Would have to inspire me to, it would have to think that in retirement somebody with a passion to actually record music has dwindled. My focus is elsewhere. But if I hear something that gets me out of the bed, inspires me to you know, push the pen harder than I have than Im all for that. Im down to be inspired!
