April Fools Day may have been weeks ago, but it hasnt stopped Post Malone from playing a little prank on his fans before his album release.
With eager fans having waited months for his debut LP Beerbongs and Bentleys to drop, the Rockstar rapper decided to wind them up a little more by announcing that the project had been delayed.
Taking to Twitter ahead of the release on 27 April the star wrote: Sorry to announce to all my fans that theres been complications with the album and it wont be released tonight.
Im so sorry to all my fans and I didnt mean to let you down again…
Unable to keep up the gag, the star then added: JK LOL MOFOS 20 MINUTES TURN THE FUCK UP

Fans were quick to exhale a sigh of relief that the delay was just a trick with some even posting that they nearly had a heart attack after reading the first few lines.

Beerbongs and Bentleys has already flown to the number one spot on Spotify, boasting a record breaking 47,930,039 US streams and 78,744,748 worldwide in just its first day of release.
Malones sophmore album beats J.Coles recent record of 36.7 million streams in one day for his album K.O.D which dropped on the 20 April.
The Congratulations star is currently on tour with 21 Savage and SOB x RBE.
