De Grey Mining Ltd (ASX:DEG) has confirmed that Glenn Jardine has commenced in his role as managing director of the company.
Former executive chairman Simon Lill has also transitioned to the role of chairman.
Jardine has 35 years experience in the industry and his appointment was announced in March due to his strong background in project management, development and operations.
He is a mining engineer with a Bachelor of Mining from the University of Queensland and is a Fellow of the AUSIMM.

In addition to his technical skills, Jardines experience includes project manager and general manager of the Henty Gold Mine in Tasmania for Goldfields Ltd, project manager of the Emily Ann and Maggie Hays nickel mines and chief operating officer and managing director for Lion Ore Australia.
