Arnold backs Matildas to block out ‘noise’ from Stajcic debate

Socceroos boss Graham Arnold has visited the Matildas at the Women's World Cup and declared their attitude was spot on ahead of their must-win match against Brazil.
"If I had a training session like that two days before a game, with the energy that those girls had, Id be delighted, he said.
Arnold flew from South Korea, where he coached the Socceroos last Friday night, to Montpellier to offer his support to coach Ante Milicic, the players and support staff, saying that the Matildas and Socceroos were all part of the same soccer family.
He is confident the Matildas would put their defeat to Italy behind them and says the players needed to put the "noise" of the continued debate about former coach Alen Stajic behind them.

Arnold added that Socceroo captain Mark Milligan will go to the match against Brazil with his daughters to offer similar support.
'''Being at the World Cup is a special moment for anybody in football. These type of events unite the nation and football in Australia. The whole nation is right behind them," Arnold said.
''Millsy is bringing two of his eldest daughters across. The girls inspire kids on a journey in life.
''They are an inspiration to Australia. It's great that Mark Milligan, the captain of the Socceroos, and his kids are coming out and it will be interesting to know how many other nations captains are here with their familiRead More – Source
