Socceroos boss Graham Arnold has visited the Matildas at the Women's World Cup and declared their attitude was spot on ahead of their must-win match against Brazil.
"If I had a training session like that two days before a game, with the energy that those girls had, Id be delighted, he said.
Arnold flew from South Korea, where he coached the Socceroos last Friday night, to Montpellier to offer his support to coach Ante Milicic, the players and support staff, saying that the Matildas and Socceroos were all part of the same soccer family.
He is confident the Matildas would put their defeat to Italy behind them and says the players needed to put the "noise" of the continued debate about former coach Alen Stajic behind them.

''I don't think the result the other night reflects on anything other than a very good performance," Arnold said.
"The girls just need to nail the final details and they will do that against Brazil.

''It's past history. 'Staj' did a great job while he was here. Now we have moved on from that.
''Everyone wants to talk about that, but it's just noise. Let the girls focus on Brazil.
''The change of coach is another story. These things happen in football. Let's focus on the right things. And the right things are supporting the Matildas and letting them get on with their job.''
Arnold added that Socceroo captain Mark Milligan will go to the match against Brazil with his daughters to offer similar support.
