Student Kieran Shafritz de Zoysa named as 2nd American killed in Sri Lanka blasts

Kieran Shafritz de Zoysa, a fifth-grade student from Washington DC, is the second American confirmed to have died in the Sri Lanka Easter bombings.
Zoysa was a student at Sidwell Friends school who had been studying abroad in Sri Lanka when he died in the blasts that killed nearly 300.
Sidwell Friends is a prestigious school where President Barack Obamas daughters, Sasha and Malia, and President Bill Clintons daughter, Chelsea, attended, according to The New York Post.
Zoysas citizenship is unknown at this time. So is his age, but students are generally around 10-years-old when they enter fifth grade.
The principal of the middle school, Mamadou Guèye sent a letter to students families Monday mourning Zoysas death.
