The Walking Deads Norman Reedus set sights on Marvels Ghost Rider – or Silver Surfer
Could The Walking Deads favourite Norman Reedus be making a move to the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
The star who plays the zombie fighting fan favourite in the AMC show said it would be fun to play superheroes Ghost Rider or Silver Surfer.
When asked which action-packed hero he would take on he said: Ghost Rider would be fun. Silver Surfer would be fun.
He made the confession while speaking at the Walker Stalker Cons An Evening with Norman & Jeffrey event, where he appeared for a fun session with fans alongside his Walking Dead co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays evil Negan.
Morgan agreed with his pick and added: Silver Surfer is awesome.
Reedus choice makes all the sense as he and his Walking Dead character Daryl Dixon are obsessed with motorbikes and in the Marvel comics, the character Ghost Rider – also known as Johnny Blaze – is a motorcycle daredevil and stuntman-turned-supernatural anti-hero.

Ghost Rider was previously portrayed by Nicholas Cage in 2007s Ghost Rider and 2011 sequel Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.
The rights for the character have shifted from Sony to Disneys Marvel Studios making it possible for Blaze to actually appear alongside the beloved Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy very soon.
Ghost Rider was seen in MCUs TV show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D where Blaze was played by stuntman Tom McComas.
The TV shows shares continuity with the films and other television series of the franchise – so an appearance from Reedus as Blaze/Ghost Rider is very welcome either on film or television. Or even both.
At this point, we will take anything to just see Norman play the comic book character.
Meanwhile, the Silver Surfer last showed face in the 2007 Fox-produced Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, performed by Doug Jones and voiced by Laurence Fishburne.
The character is expected to be rebooted into the MCU once Disneys acquisition of Foxs entertainment assets is completed, meaning many characters in Fox can receive a warm welcome into Marvel Studios.

Reedus wont be the only Walking Dead star to take on an MCU character as his co-star Danai Gurira (Michonne) recently reprised her Black Panther role as Wakanda fiercest warrior in the box office hit Avengers: Infinity War.
And his former co-star Jon Bernthal swapped his role as Shane Walsh to play Marvels Frank Castle in Netflixs The Punisher.
The Walking Dead returns for season nine on 7 October on AMC.
