Shawn Mendes has always been a supporter of BTS, and yet again, hes heaped more praise on RM, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin, Jin and Jungkook.

The Stitches singer was asked during an interview about K-pop, as hes such a big fan – and he corrected the journalist to say hes a fan of BTS.

A big mood.

Tony Aguilar of Spanish network Los40 said: I believe you are one of [K-pops] fans, to which Shawn replied: Of BTS.

When asked what he liked about the idol band, the 19-year-old said: I think theyre so cool, I think theyre just amazing. Their dancing – the dancing looks like its fake its so good.

It looks like a movie, they look like theyre robots who are, like, really awesome dancers. Im just impressed with them, their singing, their dancing ability.

Shawn continued: I met them when I was in California, theyre so, so nice. All around amazing guys.

Too cute.

Fans were more than happy that Shawn was being a vocal member of the ARMY:

The interviewer asked Shawn Mendes if he was "a fan of kpop" and he immediately correct him and said that he is "a fan of BTS" a whole mood Dont come and tell me that he isnt whipped for BTS

The stanning is set to continue at the Billboard Music Awards, with the Theres Nothin Holding Me Back singer and BTS both on the performance bill.

It will be BTSs first time performing at the BBMAs, and after their American Music Awards performance blew up, were expecting big things.

The DNA hitmakers are also up for the Top Social Artist award, after winning last year.

More: K-Pop

And considering how devoted the ARMY are, we reckon its a shoe-in.

The Billboard Music Awards will take place on 20 May, featuring performances from Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Ariana Grande, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson.
