Alicanto Minerals identifies four new copper-gold skarn targets for drilling in Sweden

Alicanto Minerals Ltd (ASX:AQI) has identified four new skarn targets for drilling and has applied for three new tenements at the Greater Falun Copper-Gold Project in Sweden.
With these four new targets, the total number of copper-gold skarn discovered by the company rose to seven, all since January 2020 and within a 15-kilometre radius of Greater Falun.
The three new tenements – Stone Lake, Heritage Valley and Swamp Thing – contain several copper-gold skarn targets in addition to those previously confirmed at Wolf Mt, Heden and Lustebo.
High-grade copper and gold[hhmc]
Alicanto has discovered high-grade mineralisation at the Birch Mountain target, where granite rock chips assayed 4.9% copper and 0.3g/t gold within a copper-gold Intrusion.
At Stone Lake, grab samples from the waste dump at historical iron mine identified a massive garnet skarn with 1.81% copper.
Grab samples from historical test mining at a limestone quarry at Swamp Thing mine identified a copper-gold skarn with 1.81% copper.
A Heritage Valley proximal massive garnet skarn with 1.19% copper and 0.42 g/t gold was identified at waste dumps at the historical iron mines.
