Earnings per share for the six months ended 31 December will in the range of 1.12 to 1.17 US cents, the miner said in January, which is more than double the respective amounts for the same period in 2018.
A higher gold price has helped with the price rising 19.8% to US$1,464 per ounce from US$1,222 in Q4 2018.
Pan African had said earlier it expects to produce 185,000 ounces of the yellow metal for the full-year while the Evander 8 Shaft Pillar reaching commercial production would add “further high-margin” output in the second half.
