Lighthouse Family wants Boris Johnson and the rest of parliament to listen to Lifted and chill the f*** out

Lighthouse Family are the definition of easy listening. The UK parliament is currently the definition of chaotic.

So we think Tunde Baiyewu and Paul Tuckers suggestion to help Government isnt such a bad idea.

The duo, best known for their classic songs High and Lifted, have proposed to send a few of their CDs to Westminster to get MPs to, in their words, chill the f*** out.

Yep, Lighthouse Family dropped an f-bomb and we are shooketh to our cores.

Unless youve been living under a rock for… well, three years, you may have noticed that parliament isnt running so smoothly, with the latest update being that the Queen could dismiss the Prime Minister if he does not ask for a Brexit extension.

The band said what we all were thinking, tweeting: We think we need to send the Houses of Parliament some Lighthouse Family CDs so they can chill the f*** out.

Honestly, we think this whole Brexit palaver could be solved if Boris Johnson and co just whacked on Ocean Drive every morning.

When theyre not trying to chill out parliament, Lighthouse Family are preparing to go back on the road this November, after releasing their first studio album in 18 years, Blue Sky In Your Head, in July.

The duo had reformed in 2010 after taking a break from 2003, following an eight year career.

In what is a total outrage, the Newcastle duo never reached number one in the UK, with Lifted and High only reaching number fou in the charts.

However, High did reach number one in Australia, so god bless the Aussies for their good taste.
