Westlife may be set to turn their rags to riches story into a West End musical.
The 90s boyband are about to make a comeback as their long-awaited reunion was met with delight from their legion of dedicated fans and their tour became their fastest-selling to date, shifting over 560,000 tickets in just hours of going on sale.
But Nicky Byrne, 40, Kian Egan, 39, Mark Feehily, 39, and Shane Filan, 40, who have been pals since they were teenagers, may have an even busier 2020 ahead of them as sources close to the band claim that their story has caught the eye on producers who have put all options are on the table.
The band was originally a six-piece featuring Kian, Shane and Mark, with Shanes mother contacting Louis Walsh about her sons group.
They failed to impress Simon Cowell though, with the music mogul reportedly telling Louis: You are going to have to fire at least three of them. They have great voices, but they are the ugliest band I have ever seen in my life.

Nicky and Brian McFadden came on after auditions were held and the rest, as they say, is history.
Speaking to Mail Online, insiders have now alleged that the boys have been approached to make it happen and all options are on the table.
Westlife are not your typical boyband. They grew up in rugged, rural Irleand. They didnt do fame school, the source added.
They performed together at school, had big dreams of making music, and later met Louis Walsh who helped make it all happen.
The band will be playing at both Wembley Arena and Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork, Ireland in 2020 after a sold out 2019 tour which Metro.co.uk called a welcomed retrospective of one of pops finest boybands and awarded the show four stars.
