We miss you brother: The Prodigy pay tribute to Keith Flint on what would have been his 50th birthday

The Prodigy have paid tribute to Keith Flint on what would have been his 50th birthday.

The legendary dance star died aged 49 on 4 March, with a coroner later recording an open verdict on his death despite Flint being found hanged.

On 17 September, which would have marked Keiths 50th birthday, Liam Howlett and Maxim remembered their friend on The Prodigys official Instagram account.

The musicians shared pictures of Keith performing along with shots of the band and personal pictures of the dance legend.

The caption read: Happy birthday Flinty, not a single day passes u arent in our thoughts, we miss you brother, Raise the roof wherever u are muthaf****! L & M …. x.

Liam and Maxim added the hashtags: #theprodigy #weliveforever #weliveforthebeats #raisetheroof #neverstop.

The Prodigy cancelled all of their tour dates and their appearance at Glastonbury following Keiths shocking passing.

Following his death, the band tweeted: It is with deepest shock and sadness that we can confirm the death of our brother and best friend Keith Flint. A true pioneer, innovator and legend.

Liam, 48, went on to tell fans: The news is true , I cant believe Im saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend.

Im shell shocked, f***in angry, confused and heart broken ….. r.i.p brother Liam.
