A woman charged with kidnapping a two-year-old girl said the girls father sold the toddler for $10,000, according to authorities.

Sharena Islam Nancy, 25, is charged with kidnapping Nalani Johnson, who disappeared on Saturday in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania.

Nalanis father, Paul Johnson, said Nancy gave him, his daughter, and a friend a ride – but claims she sped of with his daughter when he got out to remove her car seat.

Johnson told police his daughter had been kidnapped. Officers arrested Nancy hours later, although neither Nalani or her car seat was in the car.

Police and the FBI interviewed Nancy after her arrest, which is when she reportedly claimed that Paul Johnson sold his daughter for $10,000, the Pocono Record reported.
