Suicide Squad director James Gunn has teased fans by revealing hell release more news about the long-awaited sequel soon.
The sequel is the follow up to the 2016 release based on DC Comics fictional supervillain team.
So far the upcoming sequel has been shrouded in secrecy, but the director let a teaser slip on social media recently.
When a fan asked Gunn on Twitter how the sequel was coming along, James reassured us all that the experience has been unbelievably rewarding and he hopes to release information about the film in the near future.
So, hows the Suicide Squad coming along? When can the public expect some news or pictures? I CRAVE INFO! the fan questioned.
Its the most excited Ive been for a DC project in a LOOOONG time!
James replied: Its been an unbelievably rewarding experience so far, and a real dream come true for me.

This comes after it was previously confirmed that Nathan Fillion will be joining the cast of the film, although it is not yet known what role he will play.
Also set to appear in the film are Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), David Dastmalchian (Polka-Dot Man), and Idris Elba, who will be taking on a new role rather than the role of Deadshot, played by Will Smith in the first film.
