Armie Hammer has suggested that film fans may want to take a closer look at Marvels business dealings amid an ongoing backlash against SoulCycle and Equinox.

Taking to Twitter, the actor reminded followers that the chairman of Marvel Entertainment, Isaac Perlmutter, is one of President Donald Trumps largest financial contributors.

Chrissy Teigen is among many famous faces cancel their SoulCycle and Equinox memberships after learning that the owner is hosting an upcoming fundraiser for the controversial leader.

Now Armie has thrown additional fuel on the to fire by sharing the information about Perlmutter.

Hey, while everyone seems to be on this Equinox thing, it might be a good time to mention that one of Trumps largest financial contributors is the chairman of Marvel Entertainment (Isaac Perlmutter) … jussayin, he tweeted.

Perlmutter contributed $1 million in 2016 to a Trump veterans fundraiser, and in the last 12 months has contributed more than $500k to the Republican National Committee and Trumps 2020 re-election campaign.

The 76-year-old has long been a powerful force behind the scenes at Marvel Studios and its lack of diversity on screen for many years is often put at his door; as one source previously told Vanity Fair, he neither discriminates nor cares about diversity, just cares about what he thinks will make money.

Chrissy, 33, has called for a boycott of the trendy fitness brands after it emerged that boss Stephen Ross is throwing a Hamptons bash this Friday to promote Trumps re-election.

Ross, the chairman of Related Companies, which owns Equinox and SoulCycle, is hosting an event where tickets will cost up to $250,000 (£205,000), according to the Washington Post.
