The first trailer for Zombieland: Double Tap has arrived, reuniting Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Jesse Eisenberg for more apocalyptic antics.

The film picks up 10 years after the original flick, where Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), Wichita (Emma Stone), Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) navigate the zombie apocalypse in haphazard style.

In the trailer, the zombies barely getting a look-in, with emphasis on bringing us back up to speed with the gang along with some new additions to the cast.

Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch, and Luke Wilson will star in the comedy sequel, helmed by original director Ruben Fleischer.

An official synopsis reads: Through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, these four slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors.

But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.

Zombieland: Double Tap releases in cinemas on 18 October in the US, with a UK date yet to be announced.
