Marvel fans may have thought he was pregnant, but Chris Hemsworth is fully embracing Thors weight gain these days.

The Thor: Ragnarok actor has shared a hilarious advert mocked up by a fan, revealing just how the God of Thunder gained all those extra pounds while exiled in Avengers: Endgame.

Billed as Asgards #1 selling weight-GAIN regimen, the faux advert shows a before and after of Thor with his formerly ripped body and the fuller figure he was sporting by the end of the latest Avengers installment.

Thor says: I noticed a HUGE change to my body in just 5 years!

With the help of pizza, beer and Fortnite, I GAINED the coveted “one-pack” ab faster than a stroke of lightning! My co-workers tell me to cut back, I say “this beer, I like it, ANOTHER!!!”

Probably not a diet that anyone should be following.

Even more brilliantly, Thors comment was signed off: Fat Thor, God of Thunder, New Asgard.

According to the advert, Thor has gained too many to count pounds and the regime is used by billions to gain weight.

It also states that its clinically proven anti-workout plan to help you gain up to 4.5 times the weight. Why even diet and exercise?

Last month, Chris revealed the gruelling process of having to wear a prosthetic fat suit to portray Thors new look.

Speaking to Variety, the Australian actor said: It was certainly exhausting. I had weights on my hands and ankles just to have my arms and legs swing differently when I shuffled along through the set.

People just kept coming up and cuddling me like a big bear or rubbing my belly like I was pregnant.

Although fond of the attention, he added: You get a lot of affection. I felt like an old man, an old grandpa, with a bunch of kids around. And then you get sick of it when people come up and grab your belly.

“Dont grab me like that!” I know how my wife [Elsa Pataky] felt when strangers would come up and rub her belly.
