Daz Spencers lies finally catch up with him in Emmerdale as Dan discovers that his callous brother has allowed Amelia to believe that she was the one who ran down and almost killed Graham Foster.
Amelia and the teens had abandoned the car after an ill advised joyride saw them lose control but Daz then climbed in while drunk and hit Graham before fleeing the scene of the crime.
Since then, he has been making plans to run away and, with Amelia thinking that she is to blame and could be jailed, he hasnt put her right.
Things get worse when Nicola King delivers an eviction notice and Dan and Kerry decide that they have no choice but to move away. PC Swirling then arrives and tells them that there have been developments and he has reason to question Amelia again.
Amelia is anxious and discusses the hit and run with Noah Tate and Leanna Cavanagh and Graham overhears. Later, Leanna convinces Amelia to take the fall but when Daz finds out, he tells his daughter the truth about what happened. She doesnt want him in jail, so Amelia decides to stick with her plan of confessing and thinking she will get a slap on the wrist, Daz selfishly accepts this.

However, his guilt then starts to mount and he tells the truth to his disgusted brother that Amelia is going to confess to a crime that he committed. PC Swirling arrives to question Amelia and Dan orders Daz to tell the truth – but what decision will he make?
And will it be the end of the line for Daz?
