EastEnders spoilers: Sean Slaters return storyline revealed

After an entire decade, Sean Slater (Rob Kazinsky) is finally back in EastEnders after learning that his mum Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) might be dying. But no doubt the drama isnt far behind.

As soon as he sets foot in the Square he manages to anger Jack Branning (Scot Maslen), who reignites their feud over his involvement in Amys disappearance. But as tensions rise, Jack realises Sean has no idea Roxy died. He reveals what happened, but as he does so starts bad mouthing Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons).

A distraught Sean hits back, and they end up coming to blows as his anger boils over, but he eventually calms down and reveals hed come back in the hope of making amends. And now he wont get the chance with her.

Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Kat (Jessie Wallace) are stunned to hear hes back but resolve not to tell Jean in case she decides not to go to her chemotherapy appointment. But when she finds Jean agitated while cleaning the pub, she admits the truth to her mum.

Jean hits the roof that she wasnt told before and does exactly what Stacey was afraid of – refuses to go to her chemo. As their tensions rise, Sean walks in and Jeans anger is forgotten, replaced by absolute joy at having her son back.

He goes with her to the appointment and is confronted by seeing what she has to go through. He starts wondering what the outcome will be for her but she coldly shuts him down.

Seeing how much hes upsetting Jean, Stacey gives him a talking to and he decides it might be best if he leaves Walford. But just as he makes up his mind, Jean asks to spend time together away from home and he agrees.
