Strangers buy cakes to raise money for stray dogs cancer treatment

A stray dog suffering from cancer will finally get lifesaving treatment after money for chemotherapy sessions was raised by selling cakes.
It wasnt looking good for Deko when Vanessa Euan found him in Campeche, south-eastern Mexican.
After adopting the dog she learned he was suffering from transmissible venereal tumour (TVT) – a cancer that affects dogs.
Ms Euan then came up with an ingenious plan to help the sick animal after she was unable to come up with the money to cover his medical bills.
She posted a photo of Deko displaying a sign around its neck that said: I am selling cakes to pay for my chemotherapy sessions.
The appeal worked and Ms Euans flan, brownies and chocolate creme caramels were soon flying off the shelves.
