EastEnders star Danny Dyers cheeky joke about the Duchess of Cornwall gets cut from Olivier Awards
EastEnders Danny Dyer knows how to push it but he might have taken it a step too far with ITV bosses who allegedly cut a joke from the cheeky award presenter as it was a bit on the line.
Having discovered hes distantly related to the king, Danny is basically well in with the royals these days, even recently pointing out to Charlie, or Prince Charles to those of us who arent related, that theyre sort of cousins.
And as hes now part of the family, he couldnt resist a little gag at his new pals expense at the Olivier Awards at the Royal Albert Hall.
As Prince Charles was absent from the event, Danny allegedly quipped at a solo Camilla: No Charlie tonight? Ill pop up and see you later.
Its been claimed the joke was dropped from the broadcast as ITV bosses worried it might offend Camilla further.

An insider told The Sun: Dannys known for his cheeky humour but bosses were hoping hed keep it in check – especially as Camilla was in the audience.
The ceremony is very formal so anything close to the line makes producers nervous. Some saw his gag as a step too far. It had to be cut from the final broadcast, no question. It could have upset the Duchess.
Danny was also reportedly caught having a cheeky cigarette on the red carpet despite it being against protocol. But hey, hes a big cheese now, he can set his own rules.
