EastEnders Dot Branning actress June Brown fears robots will rise up and kill us in our homes

EastEnders June Brown is worried we face a future of being terrorised by robots in our own homes and now were not sure well sleep tonight.

The actress, who plays Dot Branning, believes that our lives will go all I, Robot when the machines she thinks will become common fixtures in our homes, grab kitchen knives and kill us all.

Though she says she doesnt think robots will ever be able to think for themselves, they could still turn nasty and murderous.

If that doesnt actually happen (fingers crossed!) that would make one heck of an episode of EastEnders.

Imagine having a robot in your sitting room, the 92-year-old said. I dont suppose it could develop a brain, but it might decide to put a knife in you. I wouldnt trust it.

June also told TV Times magazine that she is already taking steps to make sure it doesnt happen to her – by avoiding most technology to ensure no robot will infiltrate her home and off her in her bed at night.
