The deeper end could be coming sooner rather than later for emerging three-year-old Green Aeon should he keep his unbeaten record intact at Warwick Farm today.
Trainer Bjorn Baker stressed hes not getting ahead of himself but has a carnival race picked out if the gelding wins the Star Turn @ Vinery Handicap (1400m).

The race in question is the Listed South Pacific Classic, also over 1400m, at Randwick on Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day on April 13.
"Hes going to have to win and win well to warrant going there," Baker said. "Its always a step up from a maiden up against what isnt an easy race in the city but I would like to think he has a big future."

Green Aeon made an impressive debut with an all-the-way win at Warwick Farm two weeks ago.
The son of Snitzel has taken some time to make it to the track – his first trial was in June last year – but Baker believes its a blessing in disguise.
"His work has been excellent, hes always shown a lot of ability. Hes a bit of a natural," Baker said. "Hes still a bit green and he did a little bit wrong at his first run but I was really happy with him."
With Kerrin McEvoy holding the reins, the gelding was able to control the race on debut, so much so that he ran the slowest sectionals from both the 800m-600m and 600m-400m before sprinting home.
Punters Intelligence data shows his last 400m of 22.80 was clearly superior to his rivals.
