Emmerdale show bosses have revealed that the familiar face will be appearing in some special scenes filmed in Belfast.
A current Emmerdale inhabitant will be heading off on a trip away from the Dales in upcoming episodes, and producers Laura Shaw and Kate Brooks have revealed that trip will have a big outcome for that character.
While they make their way around the Northern Irish Capital theyll be coming across an old Emmerdale favourite, and their sudden appearance will have a huge impact.
In a clip posted on the Emmerdale Twitter page, Laura said: In March, weve got some special episodes coming up where we go to Belfast.
A group of our characters go to Belfast and there is going to be some fun and japes over there.
What we can reveal is maybe theyre going to bump into somebody who was in our village quite a while ago who weve not seen for a while.
And their stint may continue, as Laura added: And maybe that person is going to be coming back to the village with them?

But who could it be?
Fans might have thought it would be Mandy Dingle, but with her return apparently set for before March, well be getting another returnee from Emmerdales past.
Other fans have been calling for an Andy Sugden return after he went on the run in 2016, but going by Lauras comment that the mystery person was in the village quite a while ago it would suggest perhaps not. Speculation begins now!
