Warning: A severe thunderstorm with damaging winds is on its way

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning with damaging winds over the next several hours for Dubbo, Parkes, Nyngan and Young in the Central West. ”Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds over the next several hours in the Riverina, Lower Western and parts of the Central West Slopes and Plains, South West Slopes and Upper Western districts,” it said. “Locations which may be affected include Dubbo, Wagga Wagga, Albury, Deniliquin, Cobar and Broken Hill.” The BoM said the next warning will be issued by 5.10pm.
