Avengers directors arent sure Endgame will top Infinity War so thats cool
If the directors of the latest Avengers instalment Endgame arent sure if they can top the last movie, Infinity War, then were stuffed arent we?
Because, like, its only going to be the biggest release of the year (perhaps)!
The Russo brothers, Joe and Anthony, have stayed onboard the Benetar to direct the fourth offering in the third phase of the MCU storyline and are apparently keen to keep our expectations low.
Not sure how we feel about that but we have to trust them, dont we?
The brothers recently shared their thoughts on how the next movie was coming along, when they said they werent sure if it would even measure up to the mighty Infinity War.
To be fair, it was a bold movie which saw villain Thanos snap away half the universe, and not many directors deliberately get rid of half their cast willy nilly – but these just arent any directors.

Speaking to Empire, Joe said: Whether we top Infinity War or not, I dont know.
You may think hes talking about box office takings, perhaps, however he hinted it was all about the story as the mentioned the drama alone in the lead up to the April release is enough to get us in a tizz.
But we try to tell the best story we can with these characters, he continued. This is bringing to a close the first decade of stories. I think that alone has a dramatic power to it.
The movie is said to still be trucking along at a massive three hours long, with the brothers evidently finding it a little tricky in the editing suite to cut it down to a more palatable and butt-friendly 90 minutes.
Theres just so much spicy content in there they need to get out to round up this story!
However, if you were wondering whether you might get a hint at whats to come in the next saga outside the trailer that was released earlier this month, youve got another thing coming.
This is the Russo Bros were talking about.
More: Avengers
Joe said, hopefully with a twinkle in his eye: Weve sat on the title, weve sat on the trailer. The last thing we want to do is give any clues to story structure or tone.
