EastEnders fan favourite Lola Pearce is returning to the soap next year and bringing big trouble with her as she is not to be messed with and is carrying that infamous Mitchell spirit. With her daughter Lexi in tow, Lola will be at the centre of some dramatic storylines as she settles back into Walford life but will she reignite her relationship with Jay – and where will this leave his potential new love interest Ruby Allen?
Lexi is the daughter of Ben, who at the start of this year made his exit as he vanished with less of Aidan Maguires stolen cash than he intended. But with his child back in town, will this give cause for Ben to come back too as fans continue to call for Harry Reids return?
Jay and Lola had plans to start a new life together in Newcastle but he was left crushed when she ended their relationship and took Lexi up north on her own. But Lola will come back much stronger and ready to fight anyone who crosses her or her daughter.

A spokesperson for the show teased: Lola is a far cry from the teenager who gave birth in McKlunkys. Mature and confident, Lola is fiercely protective over her daughter Lexi, and isnt bothered about what anyone thinks of her. But what brings Lola back to Walford, and how will everyone react?
Speaking about her return to Albert Square, Danielle Harold, who reprises the role, enthused: Im so excited to be returning to EastEnders next year. EastEnders was my first acting job and I have so many happy memories from my time there. I cant believe its been over three years since I left and I cant wait to get back and find out what Lola has been up to.
Kate Oates, Senior Executive Producer, added: As a viewer I always admired Lolas feisty, fiery spirit and viewers will have a lot to look forward to with her return. How will Jay respond seeing the love of his life walk back into Walford after all these years and for Billy to have his best girl back in town, I cant wait.
