Jin reveals BTS considered disbanding this year in emotional MAMA acceptance speech
BTS have had the biggest year of their careers – but the pressure almost got too much for them.
Jin revealed during the bands acceptance speech that the K-pop group thought about disbanding earlier this year.
The group were honoured with the Best Artist award at the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMAs) and things got emotional on stage.
J-Hope thanked the ARMY and told the crowd: We really wanted to repay you guys, bursting into tears mid-speech.
And things got even more heartfelt as Seokjin took over the microphone.
He said: We suffered a lot this year. We even thought about disbanding but we all gathered our hearts together again, and receiving this award, Iʼm glad that it lead to a good result. Iʼm very grateful to our members who were able to unite their hearts and want to say thank you to ARMYs who always love us.

As Jin mentioned the possibility of disbanding, V began to cry beside him – and yep, we needed a box of tissues.
However, ARMYs neednt worry, as in October, BTS renewed a seven-year contract with Big Hit Entertainment.
Earlier in the night, BTS won a further four MAMAs, including Album Of The Year for Love Yourself: Tear.
They also won Best Asian Style, MWave Global Choice and TikTok Best Music Video for IDOL.
Before the ceremony began, they were awarded a trophy for their contribution to promoting Seoul.
