Joan Collins reveals why she wont return to Coronation Street
Joan Collins appeared in Coronation Street many moons ago back in 1997.
But it looks as though she wont be returning any time soon, as she didnt seem to be all that impressed with its filming location.
Chatting to Metro.co.uk, she revealed she hadnt even considered going back, despite rumours that shed wanted to return a couple of years ago.
When asked if she would ever appear on the soap again, Joan said: Where do they shoot it?
We told her that it was now based in Manchester, to which she replied: Yes, well… I dont know.
Sound like the northern city is not glam enough for this star, as she went on to say: I havent even considered it.

But despite not wanting to reappear in Corrie, there is one show she is definitely hungry to return to, and that is American Horror Story.
When we asked if shed go back, Joan said: Oh of course. Its great I have worked with some very amazing actresses and Cathy Bates who I absolutely love she is completely brilliant, and Evan Peters who played my grandson.
Joan Collins surprised fans when she made her onscreen return in American Horror Story Apocalypse.
The star played the role of Evie Gallant (aka Evan Peters grandmother) making her debut as a cannibal in the season premiere.
Here she was seen eating a dish in a subterranean bunker seemingly concocted from a recently murdered man.
As she sipped the dish, Evie remarked: Its absolutely divine.
Her original character was killed off in The Morning After when she was stabbed to death by Mr Gallant (Evan Peters).
Opening up about how scary the scene was to re-enact, Joan told us: Peter does inhabit those roles, and he has some very daring things to do – like when he gets attacked by the rubber man, and then he has to stab me to death.
Well that was pretty hair raising, I had to see that and the look of shock of horror on my face seeing Evan naked bending over and the rubber man being behind him.
She paused for a second, before laughing: Im trying to put this as delicately as possible, but the look of shock on my face was not acting – I was quite shocked!

Talking about what people can expect, the star said: They will be thoroughly entertained by me telling the stories and anecdotes, which are more or less unscripted – which is why its called Unscripted.
