Emmerdale star Mark Jordon pleads not guilty to attacking pensioner
Mark Jordon has pleaded not guilty to GBH and assault on a pensioner.
The Emmerdale actor, who plays Daz Spencer in the ITV soap, has denied wounding and common assault at Minshull Street Crown Court regarding an alleged incident on 1 July.
The 53-year-old star was granted unconditional bail by judge Mark Savill until his trial, which is scheduled to take place on 29 July next year.
He arrived at the court with his partner Laura Norton, 35, who plays Kerry Wyatt.
Mark was previously charged with grievous bodily harm and assault after being accused by 67-year-old Andy Potts, who claimed he had been attacked at the Farrers Arms Pub in Oldham.
At the time of Jordon being charged, a spokesperson from Greater Manchester Police told Metro.co.uk: A man has been charged in connection with an assault in Oldham. Mark Jordon has been charged with GBH and section 39 common assault. He will appear at Tameside Magistrates Court on 8th November 2018.

Shortly before 9.30pm on Sunday 1st July 2018, police were called to reports of an assault in Oldham. A 67-year-old man was taken to hospital with facial injuries.
