Chris Noth has insisted that the much talked about third Sex And The City movie is dead and the cast no longer speak.

Theres no drama, theres no drama, theres no movie, theres nothing going on with it – its dead, its over, its gone and youve got to stop asking, he told Metro.co.uk when asked to clarify the drama surrounding the cast.

Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker have famously fallen out over the franchise, but rumours that his character Mr Big would die in the third film were also shot down by Chris.

He wasnt going to die, there was no way he was dying that was all a lie, he laughed – before claiming he didnt know if it was Kim who leaked the plot.

I dont speak… we all are living our lives and raising children, he said, speaking at the 2018 British Independent Film Awards.

It happens in films and things, you get close for a finite amount of time and then you never see each other again.

The third film was shelved just weeks before production was due to start and it was claimed that Big, Carries husband, was set to die in the proposed script – a plot point which apparently led to Kim Cattralls refusal to do the film.

Despite the sequel being cancelled, more and more details about what it would have entailed have come to light and on James Millers three-part special on the history of SATC for his podcast Origins, he revealed that the script also featured a creepy storyline between Kims character Samantha Jones and Brady, Mirandas 14-year-old son.

No wonder Kim wanted out.
