Little Mix have stripped off for an empowering new music video which they hope will encourage girls and women to be who they are.

Released this Friday, the video for new song Strip has been directed by the girls and renowned photographer Rankin.

A few months ago, we invited many different women to be a part of our brand new music video for Strip. Strip is a really special song from LM5, its all about standing proud and we wrote it to encourage and empower people to be who they are. We cant wait to share all these incredible, inspirational women and their stories with you, said Leigh-Anne.

In the picture released ahead of the video, the girls have been inked with words that they once saw as flaws but now recognise as being their strengths.

The Strip video features author and blogger Dina Tokio, Breast Cancer charity Coppafeels Kristin Hallenga, natural hair advocate Nia The Light, journalist and mental health ambassador Bryony Gordon, Nimco Alie from FGM activist group Daughters of Eve, plus size model Felicity Hayward, trans model and role model Maxim Magnus, police detective constable Janey Camille, upcoming singer songwriter Alice Chater, and many other inspirational women including the girls friends and family.

Strip is a turning point. Were talking about stuff weve wanted to speak about for ages. Weve all suffered from body confidence and negative comments, and up until now we didnt really have a song we felt addressed everything we needed to, added Jesy, while Perrie said: We just want women to feel equal and incredible.
