Cheryl age, son and biggest hits as she prepares for music comeback


Former Girls Aloud singer turned solo star Cheryl recently announced her return to the music world with a teaser of her new single Love Made Me Do It.
The Weeknd teases new album Chapter 6 and fans can't handle it
The song comes four years after the release of her previous album Only Human, after which she spent time out of the limelight with her family and welcomed her first child Bear.
With a full-blown return to music scene on the horizon, we take a look at Cheryls career.

How old is she?
Cheryl celebrated her 35th birthday in summer and her sons first birthday earlier in the year in March.
The singer split from her boyfriend of two years and father of her child, Liam Payne, in July.

What are her biggest hits as a solo artist?

Cheryl featured on Black Eyes Peas will.i.ams Hearbreaker in 2008, and soon made her mark as a solo artist with her debut album 3 Words the following year.
The album spent two weeks at number one and was later certified platinum, with the first single, Fight For This Love also taking the top spot in UK charts.
She later released later released two more songs from the album with 3 Words and Parachute both reaching the top five.

Other big hits include Promise This from second album Messy Little Raindrops, Call My Name from third album A Million Lights, and Crazy Stupid Love and I Dont Care from the fourth and most recent album Only Human.
All in all, Cheryl has racked up five number one singles in her solo career – and counting. Shes set to make a full musical comeback this year, announcing in July her upcoming album was pretty much finished.

How long has she been in the business?
Cheryl broke into the music world after appearing on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 where she met and formed girl group Girls Aloud.
The band achieved a string of 20 consecutive top ten singles on their home soil, including four number ones, and released five studio albums together.

Over eight years together, they racked up five Brit Award nominations, and were crowned the UKs biggest-selling girl group of the 21st century in 2012.
