Thirsty Avengers fans go wild over shirtless Thanos as alternative Infinity War costumes revealed

Thirsty punters have gone wild over some shots that suggest Thanos was meant to be shirtless in Avengers: Infinity War.

Long before he snapped and got rid of half the universe, the lad was apparently meant to get his kit off and show off his impressive purple rig.

Well, thats according to some concept art released in a pretty picture book that revealed some of Thanos various costume ideas for the latest instalment of the series – some questionable, some that MCU fans were keen to see.

Most Avengers fans who were introduced to Thanos purely through Infinity War know him as getting about in a funky metallic, gold vest which was more protective than were letting on by describing it as funky.

However in the comics, he shed his protective armour after he got his hot massive hands on certain Infinity Stones and felt he had all the protection he needed.

In a newly-released art book, Marvels Avengers: Infinity War – The Art of the Movie, showing off the various costume ideas of the characters, the Mad Titan had a wardrobe of threads, but in one shot it appeared he was meant to go bareback and fancy free and feel the wind on his shoulder blades.

Because when youre trying to rid half the universe of its inhabitants, clothing is only going to slow you down, you see.

And fans went pretty wild over the notion of a shirtless Thanos, who wore only a pair of high-waisted trousers and a giant gold belt that isnt too far from the wrestling ring. Just saying.

One reacted: Damn papa Thanos is sexy af.

Another added: Congratulations youve just opened Pandoras box on the fans saying that “thanos shirtless is a daddy” meme.

Another said: Oh so he BUFF BUFF.

Other options seem to have him in a robe, with many saying hed really rock the Sith Lord look. Another is him rocking a fancy tee.

Hes got range, this lad. And judging by the outpouring of support for a semi-clothed Thanos (like, people do know he killed a whole bunch of people, right?) we wonder what Avengers 4 will bring us as the Avengers attempt to, or so we assume, bring the guy to justice.

Avengers 4 is in cinemas 26 April 2019.
