EastEnders has kicked off a brand new mystery as Martin Fowler is being watched by a shady newcomer who is clearly out to get him. Under instruction from someone else, Hayley took pictures of Martin as he rowed in public with Stacey.
And later, after snapping at Tina Carter in the cafe, Hayley made a phone call to confirm that Martin was the person they were after. EastEnders are keeping their cards close to their chest about who Hayley is acting on behalf of but theories doing the rounds will likely include Kat trying to find dirt on Martin to help Stacey’s cause and Martin’s stalker from way back in 2004 Sarah Cairns wanting revenge.
But whether Hayley is a vengeful ex, the hotly tipped new Slater, a friend of a stalker or someone else with an axe to grind (a rival fruit and veg stall owner is totes out bet, btw) remains to be seen.
Whoever she is though, she isn’t out to be Martin’s new best mate so he had better watch his back. With an intense custody war and Hayley on his case, Martin is clearly in for some choppy times ahead.
Is he in danger? And will he discover the identity of Hayley before things get out of hand?
