Alfie Moon is back in EastEnders but he isnt bringing good news to the door of Kat as he leaves her devastated. Kat has tried to move on with her life since becoming estranged from Alfie after they fell out when Ernie was scalded while Kat was looking after him.
As Kat returned to Walford, she remains oblivious to the fact that Alfie spent the night with Hayley Slater, leaving her pregnant. And Alfie isnt in the full picture either as he is unaware that Hayley kept the baby given that she told him she planned to terminate the pregnancy.
After a hectic week for Kat which sees her confront nasty Bev over her plan to sell Hayleys baby, she then gets a video call out of the blue from Alfie, who needs her to do a favour for him. But what does he want?
Kat has no idea what to do about Alfies request but when Hayley is consumed by nerves over a social worker visit, she decides to prioritise her and ignore Alfie. Kat is there by Hayleys side and doesnt answer Alfies calls, instead choosing to be there and support Hayley through the meeting.

But afterwards, Kat gets back in touch with Alfie and follows his instructions. When she arrives and finds him waiting for her, she is bowled over but when he then breaks the news to her that the boys are still in Spain, Kat breaks down in tears.
Alfie tries to explain what is going on and Kat soon makes a decision. Will she help Alfie – or turn her back on him for good?
