The trailer for Will Smiths Spies In Disguise contains the greatest plot twist in movie history
There have been some insane twists throughout movie history.
Bruce Willis being dead in The Sixth Sense. The identity of Keyser Soze in The Usual Suspects. Citizen Kanes Rosebud actually being a sled.
But these iconic plot twists have nothing on the one in the Spies In Disguise trailer.
The trailer for Will Smiths new animated adventure has dropped, and whatever you were expecting to happen in the promo is completely misguided.
Spies In Disguise introduces us to Lance Sterling (voiced by Smith), the worlds greatest secret agent.
Suave, sophisticated and badass, Sterling jumps out of helicopters, takes down bad guys and escapes explosions in sports cars, and were told that in 2019, hes going from super spy to super fly.
What does that mean, we hear you ask?…
… Sterling gets turned into a pigeon. Yes. A pigeon.

In a twist that will leave audiences shook worldwide, inventor Walter Beckett (voiced by Tom Holland) transforms Sterling into a bird, because pigeons are everywhere and nobody notices them – its the most perfect form a spy can take.
While theres logic in this statement, needless to say, this leftfield plot twist took many people by surprise.

YouTuber Jaby Koay watched the Spies In Disguise trailer with friend Achara Kirk, with Achara proclaiming: That was unexpected! That was really cute. I didtnt see that coming at all.
And there may be an even bigger twist – as one person pointed out the title sounds like Spys In The Skies.

Spies In Disguise also stars Karen Gillan, Rashida Jones and DJ Khaled (yes, really) and is set for release on 13 September 2019.
And no, M Night Shyamalan was not involved in the making of this movie.
