Sheridan Smith is taking over the O2.
The 37-year-old is coming back from a traumatic two years, which saw her lose her father to cancer and suffer a breakdown, as well as suffering a relationship split, struggling with her weight, and being forced to pull out of a theatre appearance due to illness.
But the comedic actress is proving things can always get better and is bouncing back with a one-off convert at the huge London venue.
For one night only shell be taking over the stage at the O2 to perform previous songs, as well as tracks from her new album A Northern Soul, out 2 November.
Theres a lot of songs from the heart, theres one about my dad and heartache, she told GMBs Richard Arnold. Ive taken a couple of years out since dad died. Being in a studio and writing your thoughts is cathartic.
She added that she cant quite get her head around the upcoming gig.

Ive got a gig here on the 30th March, its a one night only thing. Its quite mad, I cant believe it, she said.
Ive loved getting back into the music, the singer said. It feels great to be able to sing a song while telling a story in three minutes. Ive been working with some amazing people who can get inside my head and help me write these great songs about my life.
She previously spoke of her battle with mental health after her dad died, admitting shed felt like her life was falling apart.
Telling The Sunday Times, she said: My life was falling apart, and I didnt tell anyone.
She added: I was totally terrified that I was going to come unstuck, that I couldnt hold these feelings of insecurity in much longer without it coming to a head. Which it did last year. My dad getting cancer triggered it, but it had been a long time coming.
The Benidorm star confessed that she never used to get nervous until she starred in the stage show Legally Blonde, for which she won an Olivier Award.
Sheridan continued: I didnt want to talk about it. I just thought…people would say, “What have you got to be upset about?” And I was totally grateful.

But at the same time, I was terrified I was going to become unstuck, that I couldnt hold these feelings of insecurity in much longer without it coming to a head.
The star, who was nominated for the Best Actress in a musical for her work in Funny Girl, was forced to take a two-month break from the production, having already missed a couple of performances when her dad was diagnosed.
She was accused of being drunk during the shows last year something of which she strongly denied.
